How to Handle Difficult People
Step1
Each day, decide to yourself that no matter what, you will not allow anyone to get under your skin. Realize what affects you and plan how to deal with this in advance. Step2
Whenever you encounter a difficult person, ask yourself, "Do I own this problem?" If yes, acknowledge it. If not, move on. Step3
Listen carefully to what the person is saying. Many times, there are underlying clues to what is really going on with this person. Try not to respond abruptly or out of anger. Step4
Try offering a positive or encouraging solution. Keep a smile on your face. Most of all, don’t lose your cool. Your inner peace is what’s important to you.
